This carving, in a poplar stump, shows one side to be sad and the other seems to be laughing. this stump almost has a small seat built in to this outdoor carving that is found below the water tower in Rimbey, Alberta.

A group of stumps from poplar trees has been carved to refelect a number of faces and expressions, this stump laughing and sad. The town has a number of artistic and antique displays. These stumps make for a nice stop and a chance to reflect on the memories of the trees that once stood here.
