This is a two-story brick building in the Classical Revival style, built in 1900, which formerly was the Masonic Temple. It still displays a stone panel on the upper wall which reads "MASONIC TEMPLE". Another stone above a second-level window reads: "A.D. 1900 A.L. 5900".
The upper floor is divided into three bays, each having a remodeled 8/1 double-hung window. The upper wall has corbelled brick and metal cornices. At the center roof line a triangular stone pediment displays frieze art. The building is quite ornate, with indented brickwork between the upper windows, stone coping and column caps.
The ground floor storefront consists of an off-centered metal and glass door, with one display window to the south and three to the north. Above the storefront, the original transom area has been covered with stucco. A flat metal and cloth awning hangs above the entrance and windows, anchored by tie-rods to the front wall.
This building is currently occupied as Family Eye and Vision Care, Dr. Andrew F. Kraft, O.D. The building is Item 1 on the District nomination.
