The Glacier View Overlook is located along U.S. Hwy. 26/89/191 about 15 miles north of Jackson, Wyoming, near mile post 170. The overlook has a view of the Tetons. At the viewpoint there is a sign titled “Glaciers Sculpt the Skyline”. There is also a distant view to the southeast to the 1925 Gros Ventre Landslide scar.
