The Snake River Overlook is located along U.S. Hwy. 26/89/191 about 20 miles north of Jackson, Wyoming, near mile post 175. The overlook has a view of the Tetons which rise 5,000 to 7,000 feet above the Snake River. The highest peak in the range is the Grand Teton at an elevation of 13,770 feet.
