In 2011 Oxford installed a unique Navy Blue Turf.

The Navy Blue field at Oxford is the first different colored field in the state of Michigan. Leading up to it's debut Oxford High School received mail from Boise State stating that they cannot call their field blue since the Broncos already patented the blue field.
