The Big Apple - Colborne, Ontario - Giants of Commerce on Waymarking.com

This 35 foot tall apple may be the worlds largest and it's part of the The Big Apple "theme park" complex. That includes a seasonal petting zoo, gift shop and a bakery that boosts over 3 million pies sold. It's easily seen from the main highway and once inside, you be given an extensive history of the apple with more specific information on it's "roots" in Ontario. My kids love coming here and when at the top, you can actually see quite a bit. So if you're ever traveling by Colborne, stop into the Big Red Apple and grab a pie and check out the view.
