The Cartaxo firegighters coat of arms is composed by the City Coat of Arms with 2 firefighters axes crossed and a torch in the back. The torch flame comes out on the top of the central tower of the crown. The city´s coat of arms has a rose in the middle probably representing Queen Saint Isabel that would have stopped here during a journey to a nearby Monastery. On each quarter of the shield we can find a bunch of grapes representing the vinyard tradition of Cartaxo and on each side, 2 blue shields. The shield is crowned by 5 silver towers representing the statute of Town and bellow, the ribbon with the name of the city.
