Carregado is a village north of Lisbon in the Ribatejo area. Bulls and horses are the soul of Ribatejo. They are part of the local culture as well as Bullfights.
This sculpture from an unkown artist was placed by the local Junta de Freguesia (Municipality) as an hommage to the Bulls, the Bull breeders and all those who love this way of living.
It´s made of painted iron.
