In Redmond from the intersection with US97, travel SE first then generally NE on SW Airport Way for 1.0 mile to the quarter corner on the left.

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The quarter corner is about 330 feet W of the turnout to the Redmond Caves. It is 12" S of a smooth wire fence and about 4" below grade. Of two original bearing trees, only the more distant one remains. A new tree has been blazed and marked with two washers stamped DESCHUTES COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS and LS2140 [Tom Blust] respectively. This tree is a 9" juniper which bears N25°W 33.8 feet to the nail and washers.


What property is this mark defining?:
The cap was set in 1953 during a US Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management Dependent Resurvey over Section 28, Township 15 South, Range 13 East.
