Johnny Appleseed is located just off the I-81 New Market exit at the Quality Inn. Head east and take left/north at first traffic light. Like the comic strip, this figure actually talks. Just push the button on the white post to hear a bit of history - and then continuing into a commercial for the restaurant. In the comic strip, the figure is President George "W" Bush spreading good words around the country.
