Vila Verde do Ficalho is located in one of the most remote areas of the country. There, I found this mural, painted on a wall right in the center of the village. It depicts the typical landscape of Alentejo, the southern part of Portugal: sun, loads of sun, therefore the predominant dark yellow in this mural. And the flat field where wheat grows. White houses. Sparse population.
