This clock was installed in 1907 in front of the First National Bank of Snohomish, which is notable as the first reinforced concrete building in Snohomish County. The 1888 date on the clock represents the year the bank itself was established, but the clock was not installed until the bank moved into this building in 1907. The clock has remained through the building's evolution to two subsequent banks, a restaurant, and now a John L. Scott real estate office.
