Bolevecky potok tvorí hlavní zásobárnu vody pro sít rybníku severne od Plzne. Ty jsou využívány k chovu ryb a rekreacním úcelum.
Pramen má ochrannou drevenou konstrukci. Voda v minulosti byla používána jako pitná, v soucasné dobe se ji pít nedoporucuje.
Bolevec creek forms the main reservoir of water for the network of ponds north of Pilsen. They are used for fish farming and recreational purposes.
The spring has a protective wooden structure. Water in the past was used as drinking water, currently it is not recommended to drink.
