Yorkville is a town in Racine County, WI, USA. The population was 3,291 at the 2000 census. Population in 2010 was 3,731.

1917: Racine-Kenosha Joint County Training School for Teachers was established in Union Grove. The school building was completed in 1918. The school closed in 1972 and Racine County renovated the building and used the building for office space. Later the building was sold to the Town of Yorkville and the Village of Union Grove and are there respective Halls. The Town of Yorkville and the Village of Union Grove share more then just the building. They also share water, sewer, Police and Fire services.

The Town of Yorkville was organized by the Wisconsin State Legislature on February 7, 1842 and included what are now parts of the Towns of Raymond, Norway, and Dover. In 1846, the Town of Yorkville was incorporated. By 1893, the area known as Union Grove filed for incorporation and left the Town.

The Town of Yorkville is a rural area of homes, farm land, and businesses with a population of over 3,700 residents located in the south central part of Racine County. The Town is the home of the Racine County Fair held in July. The Modine-Benstead Observatory on the corner of Highway A and 63rd Drive. The Ives Grove Golf Links just west of I-94 on Highway 20 is a 27-hole link-style course.
