1917: Racine-Kenosha Joint County Training School for Teachers was established in Union Grove. The school building was completed in 1918.
The school closed in 1972 and Racine County renovated the building and used the building for office space. Later the building was sold to the Village of Union Grove and the Town of Yorkville and are there respective Halls.
The Village of Union Grove and the Town of Yorkville share more then just the building. They also share water, sewer, Police and Fire services.
