As each town along the river and light rail tracks to reinvent themselves, an historical flavor mixed with pride and a town clock emerges. So it is true in this small town along the Delaware.

There are a string of these clocks on this road as you move north, with the river to the left and the light rail to the right. This black clock is free standing, about 15 feet or so tall, two faces, regular numbers, The town's name is cursive with the incorporation date atop, 1849. The clock is in a cutout along the side walk, the little dirt area bordered by old, gray stones, the kind used for streets long ago. The town clock was working and I found it to be harmonious with the rest of the streetscape.
