The stone and steel gateway was placed in 1949 as a World War II memorial. On the back side of the stone entrance sign is a memorial plaque inscribed:

1941 -- 1945

To Honor
Those From This Community Who
Gave their Lives In World War II
This Memorial
Gateway Is Dedicated
1949

The memorial is at the entrance to a large cemetery.  The cemetery is well kept and has thousands of graves in its 165 acres.

Property Permission: Private

Access instructions: Privately owned cemetery with regular public access. Memorial is available anytime cemetery is open which is seven days a week.

Access times: From: 7:30 AM To: 5:30 PM
