This bridge was built in 2011 over an old canal called "Alte Tych" in Riehen. The historic irrigation canal used to flow in a tunnel for several decades and was revitalized in early 2011.
The railing for the bridge was sponsored by the local metal manufacturer association and done by trainees of a vocational college.
The coordinates are accurate within the surveying precision of a second.
