The former Post Office was erected in 1883 & served this purpose for 110 years.

The current Post Office is diagonally opposite on a major intersection. The former Post Office is now a licensed establishment, appropriately called the Postman's Tavern. The town clock is in good working order & accurate. Externally the landing which lead to the office is now glassed in, modern awnings have been added & the upper level has a safety enclosure. Internally major changes have taken place.
