Jonah Frisbie was a drummer boy during the Revolutionary War. He was in the 1 Massachusetts Regiment. He was born in 1763 and died in 1820. After the war, Frisbie made his way to Indiana, where he lived and ultimately died. This cemetery has several Frisbies in it, with the assumption that they are kin with Jonah.
Frisbie is interred at the Frisbee Cemetery in Yankeetown, IN. The headstone is located on the far north edge of the grounds, near the back tree line. To find the cemetery, take Yankeetown Rd south off of Hwy 66. Turn left on old St Rd 66 and the cemtery is on the left just past the first house/farm.
