Long Description:
Enscription on the stone can been seen in the image and gives the names of those lost.

This one was stumbled upon whilst doing a Geocache in the area.

The site now is a green field and use by the university for experimental crops.
Date of Crash: 9/6/1940

The actual cause of the crash is unknown but given the terrain in the area it would be assumed that one of the causes may have been engine failure or controlled flight into terrain.
