I've spent many hours in the Garden of Hope. The various Christian symbols are powerful and inspiring, but none resonate with me more than the cross. It shows Christ's bindings and crown of thorns, but he isn't there. Symbolically showing that he has been resurrected and we have had our sins paid for. It's truly an inspiring spot to visit.

It's a wooden cross with a bird at the top with metal "rays" shining down from heaven. It also has Christs crown of thorns and some ropes left hanging on the horizontal portion of the cross.
