Granite Quarry School is located about three miles north of the City of Waupaca, WI at the intersection of Granite Quarry Road and Casey Road in Waupaca Township in Waupaca County.

Construction of the brick one room school building was started in September of 1919 and completed before the end of the year. It is an attractive brick and tile building set upon raised basement. The school is aligned east and west with almost all the windows on the south side. The school has a flat roof and is situated on a gently sloping lot surrounded by many old trees.

Declining enrollments in the 1930's made it impractical to continue the school. The school closed in 1938 and never reopened.
