In Redmond from the intersection with US97, travel generally SE on SW Airport Way for about 0.2 miles. Turn right on SW 19th Street and continue roughly 0.5 mile. Walk 1.0 mile E first on a cinder road, then cross-county. Turn left and walk N along the Redmond Municipal Airport fence line for 0.5 mile to the quarter corner.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The quarter corner is about 22" W of the chain link fence, about the same distance E of an orange Carsonite witness post, and roughly 10" below grade. There is one bearing tree outside the fenced area. This tree is scribed and was marked more recently with a duplex nail and washers reading DESCHUTES COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS and LS2140 [Tom Blust].


What property is this mark defining?:
The corner was remonumented in 1953 during a US Department of Interior, Bureau of Land Management Dependent Resurvey over Section 28, Township 15 South, Range 13 East.
