A church building that is no longer in use. There is no real documented history to be found on this cemetery. It is a lush large size cemetery with early graves from as far back as the late 1700s. It is still an active cemetery. Large trees are within the cemetery, some well over 100 years of age. A stone made wall surrounds the perimeter of the cemetery. Two roadways path through the cemetery. Many different style monuments and ground level bronzes abound. Many promenant Fauquier families are buried here. Fauquier County is one of the oldest areas in our Country. Well over 100 graves here, but because of unfinished and missing record keeping, interments can be hit or miss. But most family plots are well established.
