The Club des Astronomes Amateurs de Laval counts well over sixty members, is considered one of the most active in Québec and among the few clubs with a permanent observatory.

Since 1996, the Club manages on a voluntarily basis the astronomic observatory.

This is the only municipal observatory in Canada.

The public is welcome during summer every Wednesday at the observatory:
825 avenue du Parc, Laval.
