The mosaic was completed in 1992 and I've probably walked past it dozens of times since then, and never stopped to take a photo before.
The Readymix Group is one of the major ready mixed concrete, quarrying and concrete products companies operating in Western Australia.
The mosaic shows a worker sitting on a wall beside a pile of sand, crushed stone and cement. There are two shovels standing in the sand and a large hose, possibly a fire hose, is laid across and behind the sand and between the workers legs.
