These giant scorpion and cricket statues are made of welded sheet metal and wire. They are about 10 feet long.

They are located off road near Borrego Springs Road and Big Horn Road in Borrego Springs, CA. There are dozens of other sheet metal statues of giant modern and prehistoric animals in the area.

The artist is Ricardo Breceda of Perris, CA.
