Long Description:
The Pedra Amarela Campo Base is an area of ??100 hectares included in the Serra de Sintra and was created in partnership with three associations of Portuguese Scouts: Associação dos Escoteiros de Portugal, the Associação das Guias de Portugal and the Corpo Nacional de Escutas.
It also had the collaboration of the Natural Park of Sintra-Cascais (Institute for Nature Conservation and Biodiversity) and the Directorate General of Forest Resources.
The Camp is equipped with infrastructures to carry out camps, providing a base from which it is possible to accomplishing a set of outdoor activities having the Natural Park as a land of adventure. Activities, among others, include Hiking, mountain biking, Orientation, and climbing.
