A small stone monument with a small plaque celebrating the Royal Corps of Transport building additional river bank protection. Plaque reads:
"These bank protection works incorporating 12,000 sandbags and 280 tons of aggregate were built in 14 working days during September 1979 by members of the Royal Corps of Transport from Buller Barracks, Aldershot"
