Igreja Matriz - S.B. Alportel - This Old Church on Waymarking.com

This church has it's origins sometimes in 15th century, but it has been reedificated in 1554. Since then and up to these days, the church has been reconstructed, arranged, painted etc., many times.
Inside the church, there is altarpiece made by marmor stone, in neoclassical style, elaborated in the end of 18th century, that is the unique one in southern portuguese area (Algarve).
