On this location exists very long Roman Road, but only short part of it is completely recovered. The road starts beside the church in the town of São Brás de Alportel and has arround 200 meters fully recovered and prity. Then road goes on but hardly noticeable, for few more kilometers, all the way to village of Machados. The part of recovered road is used by local residents and it's in very good shape. Even the name of the street is "Roman Road" (in portuguese language) and it serves as a turist attraction.
