For a long time there were two Catholic churches in town but that ended a few years ago when the number of parishioners droped to a point where it made more sense to blend the two churches together.
The church has a large parking lot located very near the coordinates for the waymark. There is also a very nice statue of Jesus in the garden area behind the church and next to the parking lot.
According to the history plaque in front of the building what you see when you look at the building is the second church that was built around the old church.
