This utility box is painted on four sides with a nature scene from a slough. The are herons and egrets wading through the cattails and rushes around a swamp.
The box is located on the north corner at West Lake Avenue and Rodriguez Street. The utility box can be seen in Google Street View.
This is one of three boxes commissioned in late 2011 by the Watsonville Public Art Committee. Artist Arturo Thomae painted two of the boxes.
