This is the Schiefes Haus (crooked house) in Ulm, Germany, Baden-Württemberg. This is an official tourist attraction, which is located in the historic center of Ulm.

At the foot of the Staufermauer (Swabian wall), at and above the Blau River, is the crooked house. Through various reconstruction and construction gained a mid-14th Century timber-framed house, the small arisings to the present time preserved size.

The eponymous imbalance arises from the extremely wide, inclined at the desired anchoring inside the Blau River (1443). As early as 1620 had the inclination at a fundamental renewal will be intercepted.

Since its restoration in 1995, the crooked house is being used as a hotel.
