Jet Cycles is a traditional bicycle shop which has been operating from this location for longer than the 25 years I've lived in Gosnells.
I've had my bicycles repaired here from time to time over the years, and have always had a positive experience with the knowledgeable and experienced staff. The store carries a wide range of bicycles from the "Child's First Bicycle" all the way up to Mountain Bikes and Road Bikes for the serious cyclist or "Ride to Work" enthusiast. Their staff are trained and experienced in choosing the right size bike, particularly for children.
Jet Cycles trades as "Jet Cycles and Compleat Angler", and the store also carries a comprehensive supply of fishing tackle and bait etc. The staff are also very knowledgeable in this area, and before I discovered Geocaching I purchased much of my fishing tackle from this store. Sadly since discovering Geocaching in April 2007 I've only been fishing once - Geocaching takes up so much of my time, and now that I've discovered Waymarking I have even less time to spare.
When I started seriously venturing off-road in 2002 I purchased a long "Warning Flag Stick" which attaches to the front bar of the vehicle and warns oncoming vehicles of my approach, particularly when travelling through sand dunes, a very dangerous "Head On Crash Possible" environment. I went to Jet Cycles and Compleat Angler hoping to find a way to make the Flag Stick a two piece which would be secure under harsh driving conditions. Sure enough the manager knew just what I needed, and ordered a screwed ferrule for me, which arrived a few days later from Eastern Australia. One cut, and a small amount of two pack epoxy, and the Flag Stick now rides in a rod holder (sadly with no fishing rods in it) on the roof of the vehicle until needed.
