This small community cemetery is about one mile east of town just off Old Highway 16, currently known as highway 248.
There are approximately 175 graves in this cemetery.
The town of Vivian itself, boasts a population of 119 as of the 2010 census, and is situated near the junction of US Highway 83 and Interstate 90.
Vivian is located in Lyman County.
Vivian holds the world record for largest measured hailstone. On July 23, 2010, a hailstone measuring 8 inches in diameter, 18.62 inches in circumference, and 1.93 pounds in weight, fell during a severe storm that impacted the town. This broke the previous record for largest hailstone held by Aurora, Nebraska since 2003.
