The smooth concrete surface velodrome is part of the City of Baton Rouge's park commission (BREC) which owns and operates the track. It was renovated in 2010 and is now part of the Perkins Road Extreme Sports and Skate Park, which also features a BMX track, rock climbing tower and a skate park.
Opened daily, sun up to sun down, and free to use.
