I found this Obelisk because there is a geocache here : GCQADN.
It was built by M. Rénald Girard. At a height of 100 feet, including the course on which it was built, this structure, a symbol of volunteerism, has 9 levels, representing the Manicouagan region and the eight municipalities that are found within its limits.
The Manicouagan region stretches along the north coast of the St. Lawrence River. Here you are in the world’s largest estuary: the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
