A tall fountain formed from stacked, interlocking horizontal elements, welded in place, collectively creating the impression of a hollow building tapering at the top to a point. The structure is reminiscent of the Empire State Building. The fountain rests on a stepped circular base, made of marble or granite, and is anchored by bolts onto a concrete foundation that reaches 20 feet down. Water flows from the top of the base over the steps into a circular basin with a stepped exterior. -above text from ( visit link)
