The Dardenne Presbyterian Church dates to 1819 and had its first church built adjacent to this cemetery. The cemetery has about 200 graves many of the early graves were unmarked or marked with field stones. There are marked graves dating to the early 1830s. The cemetery receives only periodic maintenance and is quite overgrown.
There are a few different routes to this cemetery. One is to park in the in the lot at the northwest end of the dam at Lake 33. This route will require crossing a creek which can often be done at low water. Another route is from DD to Fox Haven Drive to Havenwood Drive parking at the east end of Havenwood. Another route is to park at the movie theater on Hwy DD and walk west on trail which is at the southwest corner of the parking lot. This route will require a water crossing either on an old metal bridge or at low water crossing.
