A standard U.S. Navy stockless anchor stands in a small memorial garden at the Fleet Reserve Association, Branch 93 in Lexington Park, Maryland. The anchor is painted a shiny silver and stands at attention next to a memorial for "departed shipmates".
The Fleet Reserve Association or FRA is an organization comprised of active or retired enlisted members of the Navy, Marine Corps or Coast Guard. Officers with prior enlisted service are also eligible. According to an old homepage which is no longer updated*, Branch 93 was started in 1946. Branch 93 and the anchor are located at 21707 Three Notch Road and is open to the public.
