This crystal clear spring is located in the Whakarewarewa Forest near the Waipa Mill area. It is accessible to the public along Reservoir Road, reached by mountainbiking or walking from 8 Mile carpark. The Waipa Spring discharges 18000 cubic metres of water per day.
Directions: Turn off SH1 just south of Rotorua and drive along Waipa Mill Rd via detour past the Mill, and into Eight Mile Road.
