If you are travelling south on Wasson Rd the entrance to the long dead Jet Drive-In can be seen on the west side of the road. Start looking as you approach Avondale Dr. which enters Wasson Rd on the east.

You can safely drive about 100 feet up this old cracked road and park. The benchmark is a short 200 foot walk through Yuccas and scrub grass. From this point you will see a Green T-post with an angled brace.

The benchmark is even with the surrounding ground and is located about 2 feet east of this T-post. It is in very good shape for as long as it has been exposed to the harsh Texas weather.

The listed coordinates would put you about 125 feet NNE of the actual location of this BM. If you use those coordinates then you would be walking along the edge of Wasson Rd.
