Barokní socha svatého Jana Nepomuckého z 18. století na mohutném volutovém podstavci stávala pred domem cp. 145/II na námestí F. Cerného. Roku 1976 byla "ukryta" ve dvore domu cp. 117/II, r. 1985 prenesena na hrbitov u kostela sv. Trojice. V r. 1993 byla opravena a prenesena na soucasné místo.
Baroque statue of St. John of Nepomuk from 18th century on a huge pedestal originally stood in front of No. 145/II. In 1976 it was "hidden" in the yard of No. 117/II, and in 1985 transferred to the cemetery around the Trinity church. In 1993 it was repaired and transferred to its present location.

St. John of Nepomuk (or John Nepomucene) (Czech: Jan Nepomucký) (c. 1345 – March 20, 1393) is a national saint of the Czech Republic, who was drowned in the Vltava river at the behest of Wenceslaus, King of the Romans and King of Bohemia. Later accounts state that he was the confessor of the queen of Bohemia and refused to divulge the secrets of the confessional. On the basis of this account, John of Nepomuk is considered the first martyr of the Seal of the Confessional, a patron against calumnies and, because of the manner of his death, a protector from floods.
