This tree is dedicated to George Washington and the 200th Anniversery of his birthday. I guess it is only right to dedicate trees to the guy with the wooden teeth (sorry I could not help myself).
Born February 22, 1732 and Died December 14, 1799. Wahington was the first President of the United States of America, serving from 1789 to 1797. Much more information About our First President can be found on the web so if you want to learn more you might start here first (
visit link) after all that is where I got the dates for this waymark.
The plaque and tree were provided by The Canadohta Chapter of The Daughters of the American Revolution in 1932. The plaque is dirty but in good shape and the tree is looking very healthy.
