Central State University is a large sized hardback with photographs by John R. Fulton, Jr. Also included at the back of the book are photos from the archives. CSU is currently the University of Central Oklahoma.
The photos in the book include buildings (from inside, outside, and even some aerial views), students at various locations on campus and inside the classrooms, professors teaching during class time, and some close-ups of exhibits and work areas in the classroom and library.
The cover photo is of Old North, the oldest building on campus, and one of the most photographed. The photo is laid against a blue background with yellow font (the school colors). The beginning of the book includes a centennial timeline, beginning in 1890 when the Normal School of the Territory of Oklahoma was founded.
The color photos by Mr. Fulton are wonderful, and the archive photos are so much fun to look at, and try to recognize the location a hundred years later. Some things look the same, some things are harder to identify.
