Large cenotaph (12-15' high) located in the northern end of McBurney Park.

The Reverend John Barclay of Kettle, Scotland, was selected to serve as Minister(first minister) of St. Andrews Presbyterian in 1822.

"SACRED TO THE MEMORY OF THE REV'D JOHN BARCLAY M.A. FIRST MINISTER OF ST. ANDREW'S CHURCH KINGSTON WHO DEPARTED THIS LIFE THE 26 SEPT. 1826 IN THE 30TH YEAR OF HIS AGE AND 5TH OF HIS MINISTRY ERECTED BY HIS CONGREGATION"
