This 10-pounder Army Parrott rifle located at the monument to the Third Wisconsin Battery on the east side of Lafayette Rd near the southern entrance to the Chickamauga National Battlefield. There are 4 cannons flanking the monument.

The monument to the 3rd Independent Battery Wisconsin Light Artillery is in recognition of their service during the Battle of Chickamauga, fought September 19–20, 1863. This is one of two markers to the 3rd Wisconsin Battery on the battlefield.
