Sadly, the nomination from is not available for this NRHP listing. There are some resources, such as this vintage advertisement (visit link) proudly touting its cost ($2,750,000), its organ (a specially designed Hook and Hastings) and the architect of the building (Gordon & Kaeber and Carl R. Traver).

This last provides some insight on the reason for its nomination as a historical place. Kaeber, individually and as a principal at firms such as Gordon & Kaeber, was responsible for much of the work inside the Inner Loop Multiple Resource area (Downtown Rochester) including the English Evangelical Church (visit link) the German United Evangelical Church (visit link) Rundell Library (visit link) and the Reynolds Arcade (not yet waymarked), and at least one NRHP listing outside the Inner Loop: St Marks and St John's Episcopal Church. In the case of the Temple Building, he applied Late Gothic Revival and Chicago style.
